It's official
Well, I survived the trial period of my promotion and it should be official, raise and all, in a couple weeks.
I have also decided to go back to school. Starting in September I will be attending Keller Graduate School of Management and getting my Masters of Information Systems Management (MISM). I'm a little freaked because I have been out of school for over a year and it's an excelerated program designed to get you out of there in two and a half years. The classes are for only eight weeks and meet once a week for three and a half hours. I will have to work my ass off. No more coasting through shit like I have in the past. These posts might become even more infrequent (if that's even possible).
I have been moved off the graveyard shift for now, though I have to work Sunday mornings which sucks, but at least I will be able to have some sort of normal sleep schedule.
The apartment is great! I absolutely love it. I still haven't emptied out all the boxes or hung any pictures or anything, but it's just nice having my own space.
Next weekend I am heading out to Vegas baby! I will be missing a dance competition, but it will be worth it. To make it up, I am going to go to the competition back home in Minnesota in Septmeber.
I finally started going back to dance class. So far I have learned four new steps and some changes to three other steps. My new treble jig is hella cool, the new single jig and light jig steps are cool and I really like the new beginning for the second step of my hornpipe, but the changes to my reel suck. Oh well, what can you do.
