Fun with web stats
The past couple days I have been fighting to get webalizer stats up and running on my server. Finally I am victorious!
One of the cool things about stats is that you can see what search engine keywords directed someone to your site. Most of the ones for mine make sense, but there are a few that are completely out there. I know that by listing them I am only incouraging the weirdness to continue, but they are just too freaking funny!
"make my eyes disappear"
"drew thomas skim"
"subway or paycheck or hopes or serendipity or comprehended"
"magically transformed nightgown sister"
"colleague massage helplessly aroused"
"how do i manage an erection in my underwear"
Now how any of these search strings pulled up my websites, I have no idea!

Feile Rince Tucson
I had a competition this past weekend in Tuscon. I was a bit off and ended up only getting a 3rd in my hornpipe. I am happy about that though. It was the first time I competed with that dance in the Prizewinner level and it was the first time I placed in any Prizewinner dance. Yay.
Only 24 more days until I leave for Europe. Sweet.
I still have a ton of stuff I need to get done before then. I should really make a list.
My finance class is teh sux0r!1 I really am not completely grasping the stuff. Though it might help if I would actually read stuff and do the homework problems. I'll probably just cram the last minute before the final and hope for the best. If I get a B in the class I will be happy.
I need to register for my class for next semester and order my books. I am really worried about the amount of financial aid I will get. Hopefully it will be the same amount as this last year or at least close to it.
I saw Shrek 2 the other night. Freaking hella funny movie. It was better than the firt one. When I think "Antonio Banderas" I don't automatically think "funny animated cat wearing boots," but it worked. He was the best thing about that movie.

Whoa.
Blogger.com got a bit of an overhaul. Looks like there are some kick ass new features, like comments and publishing to your blog via email. I will have to take advantage of the latter option while I am over in Europe.
Speaking of Europe. Only 37 more days until I leave! I am so freaking excited I can't even stand it.
Some of the mothers at my dance class warned me that it will be a little chilly in Ireland. I checked weather.com and the average tempurature it only about 17 C (about 62 F for those of you who don't want to do the math). Needless to say, that's freaking cold compared to the 100+ weather I will be leaving behind for two weeks. Anyway, the mothers suggested that I bring a scarf. Well, I don't own a scarf - I don't really have much of a chance to use one in the middle of the freakin desert. If I were to own a scarf I would want one of those really cool hella long ones. Since this is probably not the best time to be looking for a scarf to buy, I decided to make my own.
I found a simple pattern onlne and headed down to the craft store yesterday and bought some yarn and knitting needles. The yarn is a really dark purple with some flecks of slightly light purple and is kind of sqiggly. The texture is really cool and it why I spent twice as much on it instead of getting the cheapo yarn.
So far I have just under 2 ft. of it done and it is looking hella sweet. Only about 8 more feet to go. If I have enough time and yarn left I also have an easy pattern for a cute hat that I might attempt.

Bummer
There really is not much new to report, but I just got the urge to write a bit.
In just over six weeks I will be in Europe! \m/ RAWK! I am so freaking excited. My dad and I will be spending 6 days driving around Ireland, 3 days in Paris and then 4 days in London.
I just got some crappy news this week. My dance teacher of over 5 years will be moving to New Jersey. *tear* That so way sucks.
I'll still keep dancing though.
I just had my second finance class last night.
Fun times.
