And the good news just keeps on coming
A couple weeks ago my promotion and pay raise went through. Yay! More money for me. Well now I was just informed that everyone in my department gets a pay bump. Once again, more money for me. In the past three weeks my pay has increased to over 1.5 times my original rate. Holy fucking shit!
Ahem, pardon my potty mouth, but I am really excited.

Holy shit!!
Holy shit!! I just got some realy freaking awesome incredible news from my dance teacher.
OK, so I am really bumbed that my dance teacher is leaving next week, moving to the East Coast, but Anne, a T.C.R.G. from Ireland will be taking over the school at the end of October, just as soon as she can get all her papers straightened out. In the mean time, the assistant teacher Chris was going to be taking over classes.
Well, my teacher just announced that one of Anne's former students, Michael Patrick Gallagher T.C.R.G., will be coming in September to teach. Michael Pat has won 2 World Championships, 5 All-Ireland titles and 6 Ulster (his qualifier for the worlds) Championships. He has also held the position of lead dancer for the show Riverdance for over 5 years. Holy crap!
I was curious so I googled him and found his website. He is an absolute cutie!
And the cool thing is that if he likes Phoenix he will be staying on to teach on a permanent basis. Too freaking cool!
Talk about motivation to get in shape. I am thinking about starting to go to class twice a week. I really want to make champion so I need to start working my ass off.

The Real American Hero
So at dance class the week following my previous post, I biffed again. During the same dance. That time I went over on my ankle and twisted the hell out of it. It was nice and swollen for a couple days. And to top it all off, I had a competition four days later. Fun. I ended up with three thirds and a second though. Not too bad for an injured foot. I placed in all my hardshoe and got a second in my Prizewinner hornpipe. Yay!
I have been taking it easy since the competition though and haven't been to the gym. I am really starting to feel crappy because of that too. I was feeling so good when I was going to the gym regularly. The foot is all better so I am going back in this Thursday and Saturday.
My pictures from Europe have a new home. I found an even more kickass php photo album. The old links below will redirect you, but the new home is here.
Only two more days left of my Strategic Management of Technology class. Exciting. Then it's on to Project Management of some sort.
Maybe someone noticed that my sites were down much of the day yesterday. Yeah, I broke it, but it's fixed now (obviously). I was trying to upgrade php from 4.3.4 to 5.0.1 and the apache web server wouldn't start up again and it wouldn't give me any errors about why it wasn't starting up. It turned out to be a really easy fix, though I was too sleep deprived to see it.
Now I know, and knowing is half the battle.
