Attention whore!
So I was checking out the Creation website to see if there was any new information on the Star Trek Vegas Con or the Battlestar Galactica Con and discovered this little gem on the Vegas page:

Where is my mind?
Damn, life has been busy lately.
In addition to work, school and Irish dance class, I have also decided to join a clogging group and I am attempting to make my solo dress.
I have also starting getting up a half hour early and going for a walk. Damn has it been cold, but it feels good to move around a bit before my day starts. I just throw on a hoodie, strap on my iPod and stay within my gated community. We'll see how long I keep it up. I might have to start wearing my mittens.
I get to go to dance camp for my new clogging group this Saturday. I am just paranoid that I will hurt myself with the Feis coming up the next weekend.
Maybe this will be my Feis. The judges we hire tend to like our school, so *fingers crossed* Otherwise the next Feis is in Feburary and it is notoriously a Braken-favored Feis since they hire the judges. I need to go out of state if I don't get it at this Feis.
Other than that, there is nothing going on.

Bad Spammers!
The two people that actually read this and comment may have noticed that I have had to change some setting with the comments and required my approval before one is posted.
Why you may ask.
Because apparently I don't deal enough with spammers at work or through my email accounts, now I get to deal with spam in my blog.
Good times.

The past couple weeks my comments have literally exploded with offers for ring tones and pharmaceuticals and online poker.
I tried enabling a 'nofollow' plugin that Moveable type has provided. It prevents links in the comments from being clickable and is meant to discourage spammers.
Didn't work.
So I have to set it so that I have to approve a comment before it's posted. They seem to have trickled down, but I am going to keep it this way for a while just to be safe.

Random Post
My Halloween weekend was spent hanging out in L.A. with Brandi. Once again, a great time was had by all.
Saturday night we saw a show at a great dive bar. The Spores and the Earthlings played a great show - there were puppets involved. Brandi and Travis are friends with some of the members of both bands. I even got a sweet Earthlings sticker.
We also made a trip to the Fashion District in downtown Los Angeles. It's like a giant swapmeet. I scored some beautiful fabric for my solo dress that I am going to attempt to make (with some help). Now I just need to buy myself a sewing machine.
I will upload my designs for it soon.
Last week I moved off graves to the day shift! Yay. I feel almost human. My body is still adjusting to the different sleep cycle though. I should also get back into the gym to get more energy. Good times.
No plans for Thanksgiving.
Got a plane ticket home for Christmas.
Gah, I have to start my shopping. Why does the Christmas Season start earlier and earlier every year?
Everyone is going to get gift certificates this year. Easy shopping.
I think that catches everyone up on what is going on with me. Nothing too exciting.
