Catch All
I have been sick for the past week and a half, hence the lack of posts. I have also been pretty pissy as of late, another reason for the lack of posts.
I am still coughing, but I think I am finally at the tail end of this damn plague. I have also sucessfully spread it around my work. I am evil.
I have been busy lately putting my resume together so that I can put out some feelers for jobs in Los Angeles. The plague unfortunately has delayed this process, but I will hopefully be all ready to start throwing myself at the job market soon. Yay.
My dad will be visiting me in a couple weeks which is cool, but I still have some boxes in my apartment to stash away and my dining room is a disaster area thanks to my dress making escapades. The sickness also thrwarted my plans to clean my apartment. Hopefully I can get to that this weekend.
So basically all I have been doing is going to work, sleeping and watching my new obsession, Stargate SG-1. I know I suck for taking so long to discover the goodness that is this scifi show. My TiVo finally made me watch it. I had seen a few eps and was entertained, but TiVo kept recording eps, thinking that I would love it because of my great love for BSG. I broke down and watched the five or eps it had recorded and was hooked. I have since downloaded all 8 complete seasons.
Samantha Carter is my new Scully. She kicks a bit more ass and giggles more. She's hella cool.
And it's fun to play "Spot the X-Files Guest Star" since it's filmed in Vancouver.
Yay for random stream of conscious posting.
