Pain vs. Fear

Pain won.

I faced my fear today and finally saw a dentist about my tooth ache.

Root Canal.

Gah.

Twenty days until the dreaded appointment and only fifteen vicodin. I am going to have to ration.

Annual Road Trip

This past weekend was my annual Birthday Road Trip.

Once again much fun was had.

This year I didn't think I was actually going to attend the Grand Slam Convention, but then I saw that my buddy Wil was added to the guest list last minute.

Wil was of course fabulously Wil. He squished me twice, once with a hug hello and then again with a hug good-bye.

His readings were fabulous and he even did a Q&A session afterwards. I had to be a dork and ask him what distro and kernel he was running, but before I could get a word out he told the room to wish me a happy birthday, causing me to get all flustered and forget what I was going to say. I recovered though, so all is good.

For my birthday I bought a Tammie Coe Cake. OMG fabulous!. The best cake I have had. Ever. Seriously.

9 Weeks and counting...

I am really trying to kick it into high gear and get my solo dress done before the Feis in May.

I have added a gallery under Misc that will have pictures of my progress. So far there are only two images, but hopefully I will be adding more soon.

I actually signed up for the Feis the other day. Now all I have to do is learn my set, get through my dances and finish my dress. Oh, and hope my Achillies tendon gets better.
